A book by its cover?

You hear that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but that's exactly what people do, every day. If your business is a book, how it looks is the cover--and therefore how people judge you. Unless they've heard of you by word of mouth, your potential customers have no other way to know who you are, and how you can meet their needs, than by what they see: your signage, advertising, mailers, anything that connects you with a potential buyer. How you look is how you're judged every day.

Your product or service can win people over once they're in front of you, but first you have to get them in the door. That's where I come in.

No matter what your business, I can help you formulate a memorable professional image. I can extend that image to every aspect of your business, giving you a strong, consistent image. Your brand expresses who you are, what you do, and why your audience should pick you over the competition.

Who is Silent Ridge Studio?

Silent Ridge Studio is owned and operated by Doug Fluckiger, a seasoned graphic design professional. With over 11 years of experience in print, catalog, and corporate identity design, I understand graphic design and the needs of business owners large and small. As your design consultant, I'll sit down with you and discuss your needs, your audience, your goals. I'll listen to you, and then formulate a design direction based on your needs. I'll handle as much of the process as you need me to, from ideation to printing to production.

What does Silent Ridge Studio do?

Visually, whatever you need. Logos, brochures, fliers, self mailers, catalogs, advertising, posters, signage, packaging concepts, website design, vehicle advertising, copywriting—the list goes on. Whatever visual device you need to grow your business, I can get it done for you.

Why design?

It's a fact that good design sells. Why do you drive that car or wear those clothes? Sure those items are functional, but you also chose them for how they look. They're an extension of you, telling the world who you are. Anybody who sees you makes an assessment based on what they see. A professional image can convert an observer into a customer.
